We specialise in small group tours from 1-25 people, and our trips to the Terra Cotta Army give you the opportunity to experience this cultural wonderland in style - how and when you want. Below is a sample of some itineraries you can choose from.
You will notice that it is actually cheaper if you visit more places. This is because some of those places are factories which are set up for tourists to witness for example how the Terracotta Warriors were made and how the silkworms did their thing at the start of the silkroad to make wonderful pure silk items. Of course the factories hope that you will buy something from them, and drivers are encouraged to bring their guests to these locations and are offered an incentive to do so whether you buy something or not (hence the cheaper price).
Some people love to visit these places, find them extremely interesting and appreciate seeing more for less money. Others meanwhile may have less time and do not want to be held up visiting what they might view as a "tourist trap". On almost every other tour in Xi'an you will be told some story, taken to a factory and encouraged to buy souviners from there. Indeed in some cases the tour guide's only salary is payment from commission for these purchases.
