Arriving By Train

Hq Xian Apartment Guesthouse, although located in the heart of Xian just on the cusp of the Muslim Quarter,
is a bit tricky to find the first time. Therefore we would like to help you get here as smoothly as possible.

Central Train Station
If you arrive at the Xi'an CENTRAL Train station we are happy to provide free transportation to our guesthouse. If you let us know your train number sometimes our driver can meet you there with a sign with your name on it as soon as you exit the building. On the other hand though sometimes our driver is busy, in which case you will need to catch a cab to Hq Guesthouse and we will reimburse you when you arrive. The taxi rank is to the right as you exit the station, please do not go under the wall as taxis can not stop there. We can send you our address in Chinese and you should also always have our number with you.

Xian North Station
The new Xian North Train station subway offers almost door to door transport to our Guesthouse and is certainly the easiest method of arriving at our Guesthouse if you come into this station. We will meet you at the North Train Station and accompany you on the subway completely free of charge. If you have a lot of luggage we can also arrange for one of our drivers to pick you up for a small fee. Please contact us for details.

Airport Pick up Service
If you are arriving by plane then are a few options you can consider. We offer airport pick up service which is the most convenient way to get here. Our driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it. Airport pick up service starts from 180 rmb depending on the size of your group and the amount of luggage you have.

As a guideline 1-3 people (4 people if you don't have luggage) will cost 180 rmb if you and all your luggage can fit in a standard sized vehicle. For larger groups, please ask us in advance and we will let you know the price. If your flight arrives a bit early please wait for a few minutes or give us a call to let us know, and would also appreciate if you could send us a message if your flight is delayed for any reason.

Airport Pick up and Han Yangling combination
If you are flying in or out of Xian, we highly recommend that you visit the world class Han Yang Ling on your way to or from the airport. Please click here for more details

Taxi
You can also take a cab from the airport. The cost is usually 160-220 rmb for a 4 person cab depending on which type of cab you take (black ones are more expensive). In this case you will need to get the taxi driver to give us a call so we can direct him or her to our Guesthouse.

Shuttle Bus
You may also want to catch the shuttle bus which is the cheapest option from the airport to the city centre. The airport shuttle bus costs 26 rmb / person. Make sure you take the shuttle bus to the Melody Hotel. When you arrive you should give us a call either from the Melody hotel or nearby newstand (or on the bus if you have your own mobile) and we will be there within 10 - 15 minutes to pick you up. The Melody hotel is a short walk (10 minutes) through the Muslim Quarter to our Guesthouse, so please take note if you have a lot of luggage that this option may not be the most convenient.

Arriving By Plane

Bus, Parachute or Helicopter

If you are arriving by bus directly from another city your best bet is to jump in a cab and give us a call when you arrive in Xian. There are several bus stations in Xi'an and we do not offer free pick up from them. The cab driver will have a phone, and the taxi fare for this journey will probably cost you around 20 rmb (except from south train station which will be over 100 rmb).

If you arriving by any other method which is not listed here (helicopter, rocket, donkey, kite surfer, parachute, etc) then you will need to jump in a cab once you arrive and get him or her to give us a call.
